Is NutriPaw suitable for puppies, senior dogs and dogs with health conditions?
NutriPaw supplements are designed for dogs of all ages — but the right approach depends on your dog's life stage and health. Always check the individual product page for age and serving guidance.
Puppies
- NutriPaw products are suitable for puppies — use the weight-based serving guide for their current weight and adjust as they grow.
- Introduce anything new gradually, alongside their normal food.
- Puppies' tummies can be sensitive, so take extra care with new additions — and if your puppy is very young or you're unsure, check with your vet first.
Senior dogs
- Many owners use NutriPaw — particularly Hip & Joint and Hip & Joint Plus — to support older dogs' everyday comfort and mobility.
- One important caution: new or changing symptoms in an older dog should be checked by a vet before reaching for a supplement. Changes in mobility, appetite, thirst, weight or behaviour can have underlying causes that need diagnosis first.
Dogs on medication, pregnant dogs, or dogs with diagnosed conditions
Please speak to your vet before starting any supplement if your dog:
- Is taking medication of any kind
- Is pregnant or nursing
- Has a diagnosed medical condition
Your vet knows your dog's full history and can advise whether a supplement fits alongside their treatment.
The honest position
Supplements support everyday wellbeing — coat, digestion, calmness, mobility and dental health. They do not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment, and they're not a substitute for a vet visit when something's wrong. If in doubt, vet first — we'll still be here afterwards, and we're always happy to help you choose once you know what support your dog needs.
